Shawn Tinsley

Florida native Shawn Tinsley, above all things, wants it clear that she is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Through her true relationship with Him, she points souls to Jesus through her story and testimony that they might receive Christ for themselves.

“God has turned my Wound into my Weapon, blessing me 33 years now, living and thriving HIV-positive as of September 16, 2022."

Her life’s passion is my work as a social activist and peer for the HIV Community as a whole, with a focus on Black Heterosexual Women thriving with HIV.

Shawn believes that the entire Black Hetero Community is in a fight to educate, reduce stigma, bring awareness to, and end new diagnoses of HIV through Linkage to Faith in the Black community. She serves as a part of the National U=U campaign and the (HE) Ending the HIV Epidemic campaign with education for all. She also provides platforms to spotlight Domestic Violence Awareness, Intimate Partner Violence, Teen Date Abuse, and HIV/AIDS awareness by providing solutions in our community through fashion, workshops, seminars, and training to end the STIGMA surrounding these issues and creating content to meet the needs of the public.

Shawn is also an ally and advocates for our Trans-Sisters and Trans-Community thriving with HIV. She is the Founder and CEO of the Fresh Connection Group PLLC which addresses several initiatives like “The Fresh Connection Insurance Group: Bridging the Gap between HIV Linkage to Faith and Finances and God’s Creation: Full Figure Modeling Etiquette and Charm. She also has an initiative that addresses HIV Faith and Finances while Aging Gracefully.

In her own words, “ I am being the change I want to see in my community. Bridging the gap in everything I do! Educating everyone to understand we are ALL HIV POSSIBLE!”.
