Use Your Voice: Participate in a Paid Research Study at SisterLove, Inc.

SisterLove, Inc is a leader in providing paid research opportunities to the communities we serve. Far too often, public health and medical research into the wellness of women, particularly Black Women, is overlooked. As a remedy, we have several ongoing partnerships with research institutions that offer paid studies to its participants. The nature and intention of each study varies, but what is consistent between them is the integrity and reliability of those conducting the research. SisterLove verifies and backs the credibility of each study that we co-sponsor. Check out our current ongoing paid research studies below




The S.H.A.R.E. Study

Compensation: $25

The S.H.A.R.E. Research Study (Stopping the Spread of HIV/AIDS Through Relationship Engagement) is designed to address some of the reasons why the prevalence of HIV/AIDS is experienced disproportionately among African American women.

EMPOW-HER Providers

The EMPOW-HER Project is a health study conducted by RTI International aimed to help African American women in the Atlanta metro area improve their health. We are recruiting providers to participate in focus groups. It will take less than 5 minutes to find out if you might be eligible to take part in this study. You will be asked a few questions, including some about your race and gender, and other information about healthcare services that you offer. Your answers will be kept private and strictly confidential and you will not need to provide your name unless you later decide to be involved in the study. STAR

Our long-term research study seeks to learn more about factors related to different HIV and Reproductive Health Outcomes for persons born female between the ages of 18-45 years old HIV Positive or HIV Negative. The study will consist of multiple visits that include questionnaires , lab testing and other sample collection. You will be compensated at each study visit for your time.

MWCCS

The goal is to understand and reduce the impact of chronic health conditions including heart, lung, blood, and sleep disorders that affect people living with HIV.


To participate you must be: - HIV negative age 30-70 OR - HIV positive age 30 - 70. You will be compensated for your time. For more information contact: 470-568-1380/470-568-1339 or email macswihsccs@emory.edu




Blossom Study at Texas Woman’s University Department of Psychology and Philosophy

SisterLove, Inc would like to invite you to take part in our survey about Black women’s identity, their involvement and experiences in social and political movements, and mental health. The only criteria to participate is that you identify as a Black woman and are 18 years or older.


If you are interested in this study, please click the link below. The survey should take approximately 25-30 minutes, but no longer than 35 minutes, to complete. By participating in this research study, you will have a chance to win one of three Mini Amazon Echo Dots.
