SisterLove Hosts Delegation of Women Activists from Colombia

Atlanta, GA September 2022 - SisterLove, Inc hosted members of a Colombian delegation of women activists.

The group consisted of women advocates for gender equity in health, anti-domestic violence, wages, and educational opportunity is a country that has a high rate of wealth inequality between genders.

September is LatinX Heritage Month. It was important for us to acknowledge Colombia's large Afro-Latina/x population.

Dázon Dixon Diallo led the site visit, organized by the AFL-CIO Solidarity Center, to our MotherHouse in Atlanta, where we offer free HIV/STI testing.

They were also joined by Katy Beltran, who works as our visual and web designer, as well as a regional organizer for our WomenNOW! Latin America regional summits.
