STATEMENT ON THE STATUS OF THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

The polls have closed and there is only one thing left to do: count the votes of all of the American people. As of November 6, 2020, the results are just too close to tell.

Despite President Donald Trump claiming a victory the morning after the election (and his threat to dispute the vote in the Supreme Court), the election results are still pending as of November 6, 2020. Election officials say that it could take until next week for all the ballots to be counted.

We at SisterLove, agree with election officials who have not yet declared a winner in the presidential election of 2020. Regardless of the outcome, SisterLove remains dedicated to the fight for reproductive justice and sexual health rights.
