As a HIV Prevention Specialist since 2013, Phyllis provides counseling, rapid HIV testing and referral services according to SisterLove, Inc.’s (SLI) Testing, Counseling and Linkage to Care protocol. She also performs screenings for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and individual prevention counseling.

Outside of these responsibilities, Phyllis is instrumental in marketing SLI’s services and programs in high risk communities via educational presentations, health fairs and other community outreach events. Prior to joining SLI in 2013, Phyllis worked as a Nursing Assistant at Grady Hospital and as a Phlebotomist for the American Red Cross- Blood Services both in Atlanta, GA.
